FLAT acoustic pods

Arranging the available workspace in the right way by providing employees with space for individual work, video conferencing, meetings, and brainstorming makes the workplace much more employee-friendly. Such arrangements are possible thanks to acoustic pods — VANK’s mobile rooms designed for 2, 3, 4, and 6. Thanks to the special design and the use of sound-absorbing materials, the pods effectively block outside noise and suppress the sound generated inside. FLAT panels with their three-dimensional structure act as diffusers to break up sound waves, bringing well-being to the office. They can be made of a biocomposite or non-woven rPET — grey or upholstered. The pods feature a safety glass door and come with connection panels, a ventilation system, energy-efficient LED ceiling lighting, a sound system, a TV screen mount, and a control panel which measures: lighting intensity, air purity, and noise levels. The pod is also available in a mobile version — on wheels. Acoustic pods will work well not only in office environments but also at event venues, in hotels, in public office buildings, and at airports.

GERMAN SUSTAINABILITY AWARD DESIGN 2022

VANK’s natural composite bio-panel and eco-transformation have been recognised by the jury of the German Sustainability Award Design competition, and the panel was named a finalist in the 2022 edition of the competition.

GREEN PRODUCT AWARD 2022

The VANK BIO panel, available in 5 different patterns, won the Green Product Award 2022 and received a special mention from a 26-member jury — Editor’s Choice — in the Interior & Lifestyle category. The panel is an essential element of VANK acoustic pods, mobile walls, and wall installations.

The design of VANK’s BIO acoustic pod received “The Winner” title in the Innovative Interiors category of the ICONIC AWARDS 2022 competition organised by the German Design Council.

NATURAL BIO-MATERIAL

VANK BIO acoustic panels are made from a biocomposite based on fibrous plants, i.e. flax and hemp.

rPET

VANK rPET acoustic panels are made from non-woven recycled plastic. They can come in a wide range of colours if upholstered in a fabric of choice.

The smooth walls are a result of a client’s brief, which we took a step further by adding an eco-friendly material.

INCLUSIVENESS

VANK_BOX_EASY is a pod adapted to the needs of wheelchair users, designed as a personal workstation.

CREATIVE

The magnetic whiteboard can be used for writing and creating moodboards. A perfect tool for a brainstorming session inside the pod or nearby, turning the pod and its surroundings into an informal meeting space.

GRAPHIC LED

The pod is available in the GRAPHIC_LIGHT version with “Friday” mural artwork in 1 of 3 colours available or with a photo of the client’s choice. LED lighting on exterior walls.

JUNGLE

The outer left wall of the pod is finished with a system of modules for growing air purifying potted plants. A green wall in the office reduces employee stress and brings emotional balance and well-being to the workplace.

INTIMACY AND MOOD

When there’s need for privacy, focus or a special mood to accompany multi-user sessions, VANK_BOX_MOOD offers the single-colour translucent Daybreak2 curtains from Kvadrat.

GREEN MOBILITY

All VANK acoustic pods can be moved freely at any time — and disassembled and assembled back if necessary. This is possible thanks to the castors fixed to the base and the heavy-duty design — suitable for repeated assembly.

FREEDOM OF FURNISHING

The freedom to furnish the pod with furniture makes it easy to adapt it to the current needs of the organisation. Available options include standard seats or collections like CO, CELOO, RING, V6, and PEEL.

TV MOUNT

To provide proper space for video conferencing, our pods feature TV mounts. Depending on the pod type, two kinds of mounts are available: corner or central.

All glass elements are made of double-glazed, laminated, and tempered glass, which makes them safe to install and use. The acoustic panels and fabrics have been tested for flame retardancy according to EN 1021-1, EN 1021-2 (cigarette and match).

QUIET AND EFFICIENT VENTILATION

Mechanical supply and exhaust ventilation, providing air exchange during use. Adjustable ventilation with the possibility of ventilating the space before and after meetings in pods for 2 and more.

ADJUSTABLE LED LIGHTING

Neutral light colour — 4,000 K. Illuminance compliant with the standard for office work. Adjustable lighting intensity in pods for 2 and more.

CUSTOMISABILITY

Available 2 pod heights: standard H1=238 or H2=223 cm. Power supply: bottom or coming out of the upper part of the roof.
