The Workspace Design Show 2025 in Amsterdam was an important next step for us after two successful editions in London. This time, on November 5 and 6, our stand at RAI became a meeting place for designers, architects, and everyone who believes that design can be both responsible and bold.

Circular Can Be Funky

We arrived with a clear message: sustainable design is a launchpad for creativity. Flax, hemp, rPET, recycled aluminium, upcycled foam - all of these materials turned into bold, colourful, functional objects on our stand.

Deep navy paired with the natural beige of BIO panels and the shine of aluminium. Strong contrasts, expressive forms, and zero compromise on quality. This is “Circular Can Be Funky” - the philosophy we live by and wanted to show live.

Product premieres you were waiting for

Our mobile acoustic walls VANK_FLIP formed the entire stand. Why? Because the best proof of flexibility is using the system live, in real conditions.

  • Navy zone: BRICKS panels made of rPET nonwoven, upholstered in Sonus
  • Beige zone: BRICKS panels made of flax fibres in the warm BIO_LIGHT tone

The walls were higher than standard VANK_FLIP modules, so additional connectors reinforced the structure. We showed that VANK_FLIP is not only for offices - it is a tool for shaping space wherever you need it most.

Acoustic sofas and lounge chairs with distinctive half-roll cushions filled with post-industrial foam. A lower carbon footprint with full comfort. Visitors could test two upholstery options: navy AIR fabric made from recycled PET bottles and the velvety Charles fabric in light grey. Light mobile tables completed the setup.

A work pod designed to deliver comfort within a compact footprint. The interior and exterior walls are clad with BIO panels (flax and hemp), 3D-formed in the DIAMOND pattern. Acoustic absorption class A.

Inside: a V6 swivel chair upholstered in light-grey CYBER fabric (recycled), paired with an intense blue frame, a CO table, and new FOGA curtains made from recycled material.

VANK_BOX_FOCUS fills the gap between small one-, two- and three-person pods and larger meeting rooms.

Poufs designed by Hans Thyge & Co for DesignBite DK in collaboration with VANK. Fully upholstered in upcycled post-industrial material from Ege Carpets.

Round, compact, and equipped with a comfortable handle. You can move them, connect them, use them as seats or footrests.

A conference chair with a new upholstered cushion version. The fluid 3D plywood silhouette creates a sense of lightness. The seat is made from natural veneer using the “reduce” technique, allowing efficient use of wood, including shorter fragments.

New recycled fabrics

We presented new recycled fabric collections: CYBER, SOCIETY, AIR and EARTH, proving that responsibility does not mean giving up expressiveness. A broader palette, diverse textures, full durability.

An exhibition that educates: “Circular Can Be Funky”

From plant to Class-A acoustic panel. Visitors could follow the entire material journey - from annual plants such as flax and hemp, through fibre processing, to panel forming and final applications.

We also presented VANK’s work with recycled materials:

  • Why we replaced polyurethane foam with post-industrial foam

  • How we use rPET

  • How we upcycle carpet-industry fibres into new fillings

The exhibition was presented on VANK_CUBE modules and BRICKS panels - education in practice, without unnecessary words.

What visitors said

“I never imagined recycled materials could look LIKE THIS.”
“The best stand at the entire show, you can feel the energy here.”
“Finally a brand that doesn’t pretend to be eco. You simply do it.”

These conversations mattered most. Because VANK is not only about products, it is about relationships, dialogue, and exploring better solutions together.

Amsterdam, thank you!

We return with new ideas and even greater confidence in what we do. We presented not only new products but a full design approach rooted in biomaterials, recycled materials, and expressive aesthetics. The stand delivered a coherent message, showing that responsible material choices can go hand in hand with functionality and the energy of contemporary interiors. Because Circular Can Be Funky.
